This place means memory. My grandmother opened the cafe with Aunt Frieda and a few others and their cakes were really popular .... We romped around there as children, back then it was still a farm and we competed with the donkey Ahny and the animals raved. Or went up and down the tower and looked for Maria von Jever's hidden door ... But never found it We are all still happy to be there today, especially because of the memory of OMI

A bike ride to Marienstübchen and then relax in the beautiful garden between chickens and peacock our Sunday highlight. Unfortunately, the quality of home-baked cakes has lessened lately. The boss always seems to be in stress. But we will not give up.

What a café. There is no service, you pick up and cake yourself. This is probably also the reason for the cheap price. Two pieces of cake plus two coffees for 7.80 euros. Incredible, is not it? New rating: again this time grade one. Incredibly cheap, but delicious cake. In addition the great atmosphere. Addition April 2019: everything was great. The cake tastes good. The coffee is running. The Marienstübchen is always worth a visit! I've always loved coming here since my childhood. It is baked all day fresh cake that tastes just fantastic. Tea, coffee or something cold and everything is perfect. Also very suitable for families, as children can play outside. There are haystacks, peacocks and one end free. It's just idyllic.

Always nice there. The cake is great, the operators very cordial and it is simply a place to rest and to have a leisurely cup of tea.

Beautiful and great operator, friendly atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Homemade cakes are served here and the rooster of the house crows on the sundial while the peacocks frolic next door. Always happy, thank you for the nice afternoon.

A really great cafe. If you have visitors from somewhere else, this is an ideal place to eat coffee and cake. It is very cozy and the staff are very friendly. In summer it is very nice to sit outside

We always have a nice time here. A bike ride there is possible without any problems. Saturday and Sunday there are freshly baked cakes and waffles. Coffee, tea and cold drinks. For the children there is a nice playground. During the Christmas season there is also a great Christmas market here.
